About the destination: Sámara is district 5 of the canton of Nicoya, in the province of Guanacaste, in Costa Rica. The district has an area of 109.51 km2 and an estimated population of 3,510 inhabitants (2011). The head of the same name is a small tourist town on the north coast of Costa Rica. It is, perhaps, the most important tourist center of the Nicoya Peninsula and a point of reference par excellence in the Costa Rican Pacific.

About the destination: There are a variety of beach towns along the Pacific coast of Guanacaste's Nicoya Peninsula, such as Tamarindo, Playas del Coco, and Samara, but none are as quiet as Nosara. Known for its laid-back atmosphere and coastlines untouched by commerce, Nosara is famous for surfing and yoga. About the destination: Considered to be one of the most exotic beaches on the Costa Rican Gold Coast, Playa Conchal is situated in the north of Guanacaste province on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Two kilometers from Playa Brasilito, this marvelous beach is also a stone’s throw away from the famous Playa Flamingo and Tamarindo. Together with Playa Brasilito, this beach is separated by a rocky headland known as Punta Conchal, which gets its name from the sand found here that is composed of hundreds of millions of tiny crushed shells.

About the destination: Immersed next to Playa Flamingo in the quiet town of Potrero, Playa Potrero is quiet and serene. This beach is located north of the Pacific coast of Guanacaste, surrounded by rocky hills, tropical vegetation and a great diversity of wildlife.
