Madeira Park Canada

Madeira Park is an unincorporated community in the area of Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is named after the pioneer Jose Goncalos, a native of the Madeira Islands who settled in the area in the early 1900s. Today, Madeira Park is the main shopping centre for the Pender Harbour region, with banks, a large supermarket, Government liquor store, pharmacy, hardware, and several smaller shops. Madeira Park is located on Pender Harbour off Highway 101 on the Sunshine Coast of BC.
