Hakuba Japan

Hakuba is a village in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, located in the central part of Honshū Island, in the Chūbu region. Hakuba is an internationally renowned ski town in the Northern Alps of Japan. Like the surrounding valley, it has an annual snowfall of more than 11 metres, and is the hub of 10 ski resorts with more than 200 slopes. The village was the main venue for alpine skiing, jumping and cross-country events at the 1998 Winter Olympics.
