Diyarbakir Turkey

Diyarbakr is located on the banks of the Tigris River in south-eastern Anatolia. Diyarbakr's fortress is the most well-known structure that carries testament to the city's rich past. In 2015, UNESCO classified the fortress and Hevsel Gardens as World Heritage Sites. Many Mosques and buildings with historical and archaeological significance can be found here. There are also a plethora of museums to explore. Add to that the well-known silver and copper artifacts and Diyarbakir are unquestionably a destination worth visiting.
